I am thankful for having realized that I been given a blessing in disguise for not having any work for the past 5 months. It was a big adjustment for me especially in the first few months because I have considered myself a workaholic until I was about to give birth and was not used to staying home and not being busy at work. But I realized that this gave me more time to spend with my new born baby then until CT probably reaches a year old and also spend more time with my hubby. Before when I was working, I would find it so hard to take time off or take a leave from work because the office would still contact me whenever and wherever and even at home my mind would still be with the work I left in the office.

I am thankful to my hubby who has been very supportive to me and CT especially now that I am financially dependent on him when it comes to CT’s needs and other expenses. As well as his love, understanding, generosity, time and care for us. He has been a very good and active participant in taking care of CT being a first time very hands-on daddy to CT. He helps me bathe CT, change CT’s clothes and diapers by himself, even prepares CT’s milk. I know he is tired coming home straight from work at 7am in the morning having not slept but he does not show it and never complain. Thank you daddy babes for being a very good hubby to me and a father to CT.

I am thankful that on Saturday, my hubby and I will be celebrating our 5 years together since we entered into a relationship with commitment and a month after Saturday, we will celebrate our 2nd year anniversary as a married couple and at the same time it’s my mother-in-laws birthday too.

I am thankful that my hubby has work and that sustains our daily needs. I constantly pray that he will always have the strength and guidance to do his job well. His performance at work has been very good per their evaluation and he has been rewarded with that which has also helped our finances. I have been praying that he continue to perform better not only for me but especially for CT’s present and future needs.

I am thankful that my mother and sis aside from the nanny is there for us willing anytime to take care of CT when necessary. Also for helping me watch over CT when we still do not have a nanny.

I am thankful that I found means of earning while I am still looking for regular office work and I hope that this can help sustain and pay for CT’s immunizations and other needs.

I am thankful for my new friends online who have helped me in one way or another, for sharing their ideas and lives as well. I found more meaning in life and friendship with moms like me from other pars of the world when I learned to share bits of my own life to them too.

I am thankful for my supportive parents and family. Also to the nanny though she often goes AWOL, she tries to help in taking care of our baby. Also to my sister Len who is in UK for helping me out in one way financially.

I am thankful for God’s continued guidance and protection for my own families, our families too of both me and my hubby as well as my two unmarried sisters, two married sisters and my married only brother too.

I am thankful for the countless blessings that God has given to us and as always for all our answered prayers!
