Charles, my hubby celebrated his 32nd natal day! We almost missed the 5th dawn mass (Misa de Gallo) and almost broke our novena. I cried a little upon waking up and realizing it’s already 5:25AM. But there is still hope. When we passed by our church the mass has just ended so we had to ride a taxi and rush to Pink Sisters (Holy Spirit Adoration Convent) and luckily we were able to catch up the middle of the mass as they start at 5Am.
Since I started working I think I always complete the 9 morning masses every year as my novena for the next or coming year as well as a thanksgiving for the blessings we have received for the present year. When I was still studying I would also try to complete the novena every year. So it’s really heartbreaking if we break the novena on a memorable day - on his birthday! After the mass at the Pink Sisters, we both offered and wrote down our petitions and dropped them at the boxes in right front side of the church. We also both offered a little money we enclosed since Charles forgot to ask my mom that we will have offer for a thanksgiving mass on his birthday.
We had dinner at 7PM at the Grand Emerald Seafood Garden at the Victoria Plaza Compound with my CT, my youngest sister. Actually our office also hosted a dinner for some people from our new client at Grand Emerald at 6PM. Thankful I was able to manage my migraine which I usually experience when I have my period. I enjoyed the dinner. CT was fascinated by the big fishes in the aquarium. I will be posting photos of the Pink Sisters and Grand Emerald Seafood Garden so you can just check it out.
Charles said he was happy. He was joking that his age is now past the number of days in the calendar. Well there is always the thermometer, bingo or whatever hehehe. We are thankful for all the blessings he and we as a family have received this year. We are sincerely praying for God’s continuous blessings, love, guidance and protection as well as for good health and prosperity in life.

taga bangkal ka ba sis? my family lives near the PM sisters chapel kac and when i was there pag late na kami sa PM we go to the pink sisters, hehe!
