Last week the Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2 website was launched by ABS-CBN. Tomorrow fans will get to see who the lucky Star Dreamers are at its premier right after Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Teen Edition Plus. It would be another following for dreamers who wants to follow the steps of Pinoy Dream Academy Season 1 created talents such as Star Dreamer Yeng Constantino, Ronnie Liang, JayR Siaboc and RJ Jimenez. The Pinoy Dream Academy is part of ABS-CBN campaign Dream Big Kapamilya to create such promising talents. Who among these Star Dreamers do you think will be the next grand winner? We are yet to find out.

Although last years’winners were quite mediocre (no real talent!) I’m so happy to see a lot of potentials this year. It just saddens me that the scholars are voting for fellow scholars not because of their actual talent (voice quality especially) but for their demeanor in the house. This is not about competition for popularity(or so I thought!), I thought it’s about molding people that has the voice that will be eventually carried to recordings etc…no matter what their status in life is.PLEASE lay off Laarni, you just don’t know how hard it is for some people to socialize and a week, how judgemental ! As for Bea, it’s a little mean but what is she doing there with her karaoke style singing? She can afford her own voice lessons,give others a chance.And,Cristian-I understand where he’s coming from but he doesn’t have the voice either.Jet is plain mean spirited!He has to be reminded to be less abusive.Good Luck to the ones with talent!For Laarni,keep going with your calling-might not be in that environment but I’m sure the Malate Church Choir appreciates you.God Bless You!

[...] Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2 had its first probationary night last night. There were four scholars who got the dreaded red grades - Bea, Inaki, Laarni and Christian. The Dream Mentors saved Christian while the rest of the scholars voted among the remaining three whom they will save. The probationary scholar saved by the scholars was Bea who got 8 out of 13 votes. So the final two first probationary scholars of PDA Season 2 are Laarni and Inaki.
