Watching the news update at CNN about the China Earthquake for the past few days is really heartbreaking especially when we think of those about 200 children buried under a school building that was destroyed during the earthquake. Hundreds of thousands have been left homeless, thousands have died and still a lot of people are missing while their loved ones continue to hope for a miracle that their loved ones have somehow survived. But the chances of finding a survivor grows slimmer as each day passes by. It was a miracle that an old woman was found alive after four days since the earthquake. We could only pray for those who lost loved ones to be strong and to accept their tragic and sad fate. What makes it more sad are the 158 relief workers who died in landslides in China.
It was also quite disturbing that we also experienced two earthquakes last Friday before 9:00PM and last Saturday around 10:30PM. We could only pray hard that we won’t experience what happened to China nor to Myanmar’s cyclone victims. Let us offer our prayers!
