Hey I just have to clarify that I did not say Ateneo hates La Salle! To repeat what I said I have nothing against La Salle nor Ejay (who was my other choice for Big Winner). I have friends from La Salle. We do not feel the rivalry here in Davao if there is between the schools. What I was trying to say it was just a thought that La Salle might have voted for Ejay so that Robi from Ateneo will not win. Just a thought though but we cannot tell for sure.

hi Tere! thanks for this post.. si Ejay pala ang nanalo ha.. hmm.. well, siya ang Hula ko na mananalo because he looks so poor.. kwawa siyang tignan. kaya dami nyang votes. pero sa sinabi mo.. baka nga ganun. hate ng mga ateneo ang mga lasalites eh, that adds up to his votes. =)

There are quite a few things running through my mind when Robi’s name was called as the 2nd Teen Big Placer. I have nothing against Ejay just like you. But I was more on Robi not just because I am also an Atenista. But the people – the “taong bayan” had spoken supposedly. As an Atenista, it crossed my mind that could it have been that LaSallites voted on Ejay? Did you remember when three teens/people in the audience in a row were asked by one of the host about who their bet was for the Teen Big Placer and these three people answered Robi. The first one, an Atenista I assume said it’s one big fight for Ateneo. At that moment it just crossed my mind that maybe the other school thought otherwise.

Anyway, I have nothing against La Salle. I have a classmate who went to La Salle. We do not have La Salle here and we do not really feel the competition if there is.

Another thought on this is that maybe they have plans for Ejay and they might not be for the idea that “the rich and privileged wins” the competition. But I did not see Robi as rich though he comes from a privileged famiy living a comfortable life above other people. But I saw Robi’s good character and as a good youth leader inside the house. A good son and a good brother to Maro. He is a good example and model to the Filipino youth.

But we must unite and in the end I am happy for Ejay and I think Robi is happy for what he got though he said in his Buzz interview yesterday that winning and being the Teen Big Winner did cross his mind when it was only Ejay and he who was left. But in showbiz, those who won PBB are not that popular now. Only Big Winner Kim Chiu has busy career now and the other winners are not that visible now. So it is not a guarantee for being the big winner.

Regarding those votes you said that were not counted, you might address it directly to PBB or ABS-CBN if feel the need for an explanation. If not, let us just enjoy seeing Robi on TV in the world of showbiz!

I wish to answer the comment that Robi’s fans did not continue the fight up till the end. It was not true! My friend and I were included in the thousands of people who wished to see Robi in the flesh last Saturday. Before the show started, we are already sending our votes for Robi, when the show started and statistics showed that HM B is ahead over HM C, we were so paranoid that HM C must be Robi therefore we need to send out more votes and so we did. During the show, we noticed that votes for HM B froze to 34.34% while HM C was soaring high and continuously increasing as we send out our votes for Robi. My friend and I thought that HM C was Robi! To our surprise Ejay got the slot! And here comes the confirmation from 2331 that our votes were not counted because VOTING WAS CLOSED!! Now, where did that came from?? It was pretty clear in my sent items that I sent out the votes before it was announced that voting was officially closed!!! I have been a PBB fanatic ever since the show started. I voted for Robi because I felt that if ever he becomes the Big Winner, we will be able to erase the thought that PBB is only for the poor.. but guess what!? It turned out that it IS FOR THE POOR. Nothing against Ejay, it could have been so easy to accept when the VOTES WERE COUNTED FAIRLY!!! To Robi, continue to inspire the youth whether RICH or POOR, your ONE BIG FIGHT does not end in being a 2nd teen big placer.
