It is in the breaking news that ABS-CBN TV news reporter Ces Drilon along with her two crew were kidnapped in Sulu as what the police said. I just heard about it in the radio in the kitchen while H & I were doing the laundry just awhile ago and I went up for awhile to check the story online.
Those who abducted them were said to be al-Qaeda-linked Abu Sayyaf Group members. Drilon and her crew were pursuing a story in Sulu when they were taken by armed men under Albader Parad, a leader of Abu Sayyaf there. According to ABS-CBN they are making all possible efforts to find Drilon and her crew namely Jimmy Encarnacion and Angelo Valderama after they went missing since Sunday and in order to bring them home safe. ABS-CBN management would not say why Drilon and her crew went to Sulu.
