Special Prayer will be made by Pope Benedict XVI for the victims of the sunken MV Princess of the Stars especially that there were children involved in this tragedy at sea. The Pope was quoted as saying “It is with deep emotion that I learn this morning of the sinking in the Philippines of a ferry hit by Typhoon Frank (international codename: Fengshen). The Pope said this at the Vatican after the Angelus prayer following his Sunday mass. We could also offer our own prayers for the victims, survivors, those still missing and those who have been rescued as well as all the families of the passengers for strength, safety and protection.
