Ten (10) Favorite Sports to Watch:

Tennis – my all time favorite way back during the time of Pete Sampras and Steffi Graf who are my great idols then there are those whose matches I also watch when they play like of Andre Agassi, Martina Hingis, Lindsay Davenport, Venus and Serena Williams. I am no longer familiar with the new generation of tennis players.
Boxing – only when its Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao
Badminton – I used to play but not much now:)
Volleyball – I love Leila Barros of Brazil! Wow she is a great player, sexy and beautiful!
Golf – especially if it is Tiger Woods playing.
Artistic / Rhythmic Gymnastics
Figure Skating
Diving / Swimming – especially synchronized swimming!
Billiards
Basketball – not much these days.

I had forgotten about synchronized swimming. That can be truly beautiful.

I can’t say I’ve ever understood synchronized swimming, even though a nationally acclaimed team (the Aquanuts) is from just up the street. It all seems a little too Monty Pythonesque to be a sport, for my taste.

I nearly tried out for the boxing team in college, 20+ years ago. I think I’d have been pretty good, but I gave it up after two practices when I found out they expected the team to go running at 5 a.m. I was in college. 5 a.m. doesn’t exist at the beginning of the day, though it does exist at the end of some days in college.

Oh, Synchronized swimming just makes me laugh. The noseplugs particularly I find humerous, I don’t know why.
