Photography is something that H and I have been busy with lately. We both have been following the FPS online for about two years ago. H had become a member last year and I just registered a few months ago. But then we do not have a DSLR and we only have a point and shoot Canon Powershot A710IS digital camera. When we got our first DSLR about a week after my birthday this year, I have decided to take photography seriously but slowly as I still have to grasp the things I learn everyday not only in the forum I read on but from a lot of sites online and from the class H and I are taking. There is a lot to learn. But photography makes us happy and its a relaxing hobby but we admit it’s rather expensive too! You may be wondering whose DSLR the one above belongs to. It actually belongs to our new friend and classmate from Norway, Lance. This shot was taken when another classmate of ours, Jess from Chicago treated us to dinner in Harana while waiting for the food. This is a Canon EOS 400D of Lance. Jess has the same DSLR with us, Nikon D60. I thought only in FPS are there jokes on which is better. But Lance sometimes makes a joke about it too. But our teacher E.L. is a Nikon user too! So he does not have much choice for he is only one Canon against three Nikons. But then as we say in FPS “It’s not the Pana (arrow=DSLR/camera used) but it’s in the Indian (photographer)!” and “Owning a DSLR does not instantly make you a photographer, you’re just a DSLR owner/user.“

i got my new toy na tere and it’s a nikon.
pero dli sya DSLR. it’s their latest compact cam. sunod na lng ko mag DSLR pag feel na nako. for now, a point-and-shoot camera will do for me.
