Yes since his “Okay” when he was two months old only, CT can now talk words quite clearly. He will be eighteen months or one year and 6 months in ten days. It is really amazing for us that he can say more and new words each day much to our amusement.
- He can call us “Mama” and “Papa” clearly.
- He can call my parents “Lola” (grandma) and “Lolo” (grandpa). He sometimes call my mom as “Nana”.
- He can call his aunts “Tita” (aunt). Sometimes he calls my three sisters by their nicknames coz of what he often hears from us calling them.
- He can call his cousin Marian “Ate” (older sister/girl). But sometimes he must confuse “ate” as anyone that is a girl coz he sometimes call me “Ate” when Marian is with me also.
- When we were at St. Jude yesterday around lunch for the First Friday mass, he said “hawa” (move) to his papa when he wanted papa to move from his seat.
- When my father leaves in the morning, he would say “babay Lolo” (goodbye Grandpa) much to the delight of my father and he would not leave at times until CT says goodbye to him.
- CT would also say “Babay” to us and my sisters or anyone whom he would see leaving the house.
- He was able to say A,E,I,O,U after my my sister pointed out the vowels to him in a book of one of my nephews. His cousin Marian and Tita were very happy and most of all me and H.
- He can say “wala na” (no more) with his arms spread out and his head shaking with his smile on his face whenever he has no more crackers, cookies, biscuits or anything that he is eating.
- He calls his stuffed toys Pooh “Poo-poo” and his light blue elephant Pampi as “Papi”. These two toys are his huggables.
- He would also say “bad ka” (you’re bad) following on his cousins when they cry.
Aside from CT talking, what amuses us so are his facial expressions and playfulness that makes him cute and adorable. Well I am one proud mommy of our precious angel baby CT.
