Bird on Top

While outside the house one morning, we noticed this bird perched on the tip of this palm tree in our neighbors’ front yard. This is quite high and far so thanks to the power zoom of our 70-300mm VR Nikon lens we got a clear shot of the bird from afar. My CT was amused when we showed him this shot after we have downloaded it to my laptop. Hope you have a great weekend and happy Sunday everyone! :)

Aren’t zoom lenses just wonderful? They open up new worlds. Beautiful shot. So pretty against the blue of the sky and with the lovely palm fronds.

    Wonderful ‘capture’ … I wish I had a zoom lens too ;–)
I shared my Camera Critters on Saturday at Small Reflections this week. Your CommentLuv didn’t work when I left my previous comment about Wimbledon. Wonder if it will work this time?
    Hugs and blessings,
