There are heroes. There are superheroes. And then there’s… Hancock. Meet the superhero everybody loves to hate. Hancock is saving the world whether we like it or not.
Superhero John Hancock, played by Will Smith, is an unhappy and reluctant superhero who lives in his own world. Hancock drinks heavily and he always smells of liquor plus almost everybody calls him an A-S H–E! He is depressed for some reason. He is one hero in L.A. who has saved many people’s lives but in the process of getting the job done he causes a lot of damage to properties with no regard for the damage done to the point that the people got fed up especially with his drinking. At one time the city suffered a damage of $9M. Then Hancock meets Ray played by Jason Bateman who is a Public Relations executive whom he saved one day from being run over by a train when he got stuck in traffic at the railway crossing. In return for saving his life, Ray wants to help Hancock with his public image and he wants the people to love Hancock. Ray’s wife, Mary played by the beautiful Charlize Theron, believes Hancock can not be fixed, and she doesnt want Ray to be hurt. It so happens that its a small world after all coz technically Mary and Hancock are married for hundreds of years. Mary also has the same strength and powers as Hancock. It was only about 80 years ago when Hancock suffered an amnesia after being attacked when they were out to see a movie - Frankenstein. So that’s why Hancock has this old Frankenstein movie tickets kept in a small, rusty, old metal box in his place. Hancock is not the usual superhero we have but he somehow came close too when Ray gave him a cool black uniform which he wore when he saved a bank from those robbers.
Well the movie is okay but not that spectacular for me. Lesson learned: do not call any stranger A-S H–E or CRAZY coz they might turn out to be Hancock’s kind. But the movie Wanted I think is better.

[...] He also discovered that The Fraternity lives by an ancient, unbreakable code which is to carry out the death orders given by emotionless Fate itself written on a woven cloth in a big room where the Fraternity’s leader Sloan played by Morgan Freeman, brought him into one time only. So then came the time that the name Cross was given to him as an assignment. So he believes he is now out to seek revenge for the death of his father which Cross is responsible for. The twist of the story which I first noticed when Cross grabs Wesley’s hand when he was about to fall from the derailed train. Why would Cross save Wesley? Because he is the real father! So Wesley was ordered to kill his own father. Why? Because his father Cross learned that Sloan’s name would come out as an assignment. So when Wesley confronts Sloan and the rest of the Fraternity, Sloan divulges that every assassin’s name in that room will come out from the loom and they must die. So Sloan said either follow the code or break the code then pull the trigger on their own self. What the sexy Fox (Jolie) did at the end? She pulled the trigger letting the bullet go around them killing each of the assassin standing in a circle while the bullet she fired goes in circle hitting each one in the head. All died including Fox! This is the first movie I have seen Angelina Jolie died. The movie was great and the twist was great! The gun used by Cross and Wesley plus their decoy hmmm awesome! Next showing… Hancock! [...]
