Camera Critters, Photography

Took this snap shots of a brown butterfly we saw one Saturday morning flying near the plants in the front yard. When I saw it landing on a leaf , grateful to have our D60 with me then I took a shot at it. One thing we are grateful also of our Nikon zoom lens coz we can take a shot even from afar so that we could avoid scaring away this butterfly.

2008 Jul 13 13I simply love that shot with its wings spread low. Something about it reminds me of Mothra from the old Godzilla movies.
