It’s a Bird

Camera Critters: Bird

It’s a bird, not a plane and definitely not Superman! This is MAYA bird or house sparrow was flying from a distance, then landed and perched on these tall grasses in the field near the church Friday last week while H, CT and I went for an afternoon stroll then had coffee at the Bogser’s Java and Jazz coffee shop. Our CT did not notice this as this was from afar. Our lens was zoomed at 300mm so you can imagine this was quite far from us otherwise the bird would have flown away before we can even have a snap at it. But he was smiling when he saw this bird’s photo in my laptop. Well have a great weekend!

What a wonderful ‘capture’ … I love seeing photos I’m unable to ’snap’ myself, so thanks for sharing the picture and explanation.

FYI: I’ve got two Camera Critters posts today on two different blogs (and one to be shared tomorrow at Small Reflections) … so if you’ve got time please check them out: CC#15 and CC#16.

What a great lens you have there! It’s one I’m drooling over at the moment! Some day. Until then I have to deal with my 200 mm one and add a doubler.
