For this weekend, nothing much happened as we just stayed home most of the time. We were planning to go to the mall to have some photos printed but postponed it for tomorrow. I just wanna share a photo taken of CT “reading” his first book which H and I bought for him at GMall. We have been looking around for a book with hard cover and pages then we chanced upon this book so we bought it.
When I got home the other Saturday, CT was eating in his high chair in the living room. So I immediately showed him my “pasalubong” our gift for him and he really got excited he couldn’t wait to take off the plastic wrap from the book. When he was able to, he looked at it and tried to figure out how to open it and then he immediately opened it to this page which I said “Aha! A pizza lover like me and papa!” He kept on opening the book to this page. Probably he remembers what we usually eat when we went to Pizza Hut. The days following that, CT would sleep with this book in his bed and he would often hug it with one of his hands while sleeping. I just hope that this is an indication that CT will be a good reader and will learn a lot of good things and gain knowledge from reading. When we have time, I would point out the colors, shapes and things in the book. The first word he said and was able to follow was the color PINK which sounded like “PING”. Well CT now can often follow and say what we say. That would be all for now. I hope everyone had a great weekend and enjoy the week ahead!
