Wondering

My nephew Louis is wondering where his mom is. He said out loud almost 10 in the evening “Dugay lagi si mama?” (Why is mama late?) If I could answer my nephew in the same phrase that his mother would answer sometimes – “Parang di ka na nasanay.” (It’s like you’re not used to it.) I really do not know what my sis works on late at night coz knowing from experience with GOs the people working there usually goes home as early as 4-4:30 in the afternoon which is earlier than the 5PM off and they have no work on weekends. Well given the benefit of the doubt, it’s official OT with no pay for her. I hope she is not out there wandering so late at night while the five kids are left in the house wondering.
