2008 Beijing Olympics National Stadium nicknamed the Bird's Nest
The 2008 Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony will be held today, August 08, 2008 at exactly 8:08 in the evening. The Chinese believes in the lucky number “8″ that is why they have scheduled the start of the opening ceremony at that time which will air on NBC from 6:30 pm until 11 in the evening (all times CST). Beijing, China is about 13 hours ahead of US Central time.
Hubby has been searching for the 2008 Olympics schedule online well I said he should be searching instead for the 2008 Olympics tv schedule. All 34 Olympics sports from the 37 venues throughout China will be covered during the 17-day competition by NBC so I have read.
For the first time in 12 years athletes from North and South Korea will march under separate flags during tonight’s Olympic Games opening ceremony. Then Chinese basketball player Yao Ming will carry the host nation’s flag at tonight’s opening ceremony of the Olympic Games. While for the Philippines, our national flag will be carried by Manny Pacquiao.
I have seen even in our FPS forums that they have been updating a thread for the Olympics TV schedule as the admin is a sports buff himself just like some of the members. Good luck to the RP Team delegates as well as to all players! Now speaking of sports I remember I have to look for some golf equipment that my bro asked me check online.

2008 Aug 08 3Amazing this is by far the best opening ceremony i can remember and let’s face it the western propaganda is against the Chinese i for one love CHINA and I’m not Chinese. I love China because it is honest, sincere and wise country the western stations are spouting bile against China because they are told to do so. The intelligence services are doing the bidding of the corporations using subversive tactics to undermine and shame the government.
