My hubby saw this caterpillar on our door step at the back and he almost stepped on it. Good he didn’t and he placed it on top of the leaves in the plants in the backyard then took out our D60 and took a close-up shot at it. He let it go then after a few days I saw a butterfly in the backyard still that looks similar to this one. When I saw it I instantly thought of this caterpillar. Too bad I do not have enough time to grab the cam to get a shot of it as it flew away after its surprise short visit in the backyard. Well you see nature has its wonders and beauty we should learn to take care of and appreciate. Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Very cool shot!
You can look at it and almost picture what the butterfly will like like.

I’m very glad he did not step on it. So many people do not recognize the difference between caterpillars that turn into butterflies, and those that are just going to be destructive pests.

That’s a great shot. The caterpillar was a lucky one. I’m sure it’s grateful for the chance to live its life to the fullest.
