Hubby told me about me about this so called battle of the brews conducted in an independent taste test across ten major U.S. markets of American coffee drinkers. Would you agree that a significant majority of those who took part of the said  test choose Dunkin’ Donuts coffee over that of Starbucks?

The said test was done in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Detroit, Los Angeles, Miami, New York City, and Seattle which is Starbucks’ home turf. This was done last May and June with 476 adults who had drank regular, hot brewed coffee in the past week participated in the two blind coffee taste tests conducted by A&G Research, Inc.

Fresh packed coffee bought in each brand’s stores were used for the taste test, tested each brand’s most popular flavor (Dunkin’ Donuts Original Blend versus Starbucks House Blend - their  most popular coffee which is light and lively), brewed the coffee using equipment recommended by each brand and served the coffee black.

But on the other hand when it is compared to flavored or coffee blends, I guess Starbucks would be my choice. What about you which would you choose?
