Christmas Decors
04 Dec 2008
It’s December already! And before you know it another year has passed by. But before that, you should not let Christmas holiday season pass by and to make this holiday more merrier despite the financial crisis, we decided to buy some Christmas decors. When we went to VP yesterday, we finally decided to buy a Christmas garland decor (P900 or $18). It is already made and ready to be placed on top of our front window. We asked the male sales staff to place the transparent chasing rice lights already which we bought separately (P189.75) so that we will just readily place it when we get home. We chose the thin garland coz the bigger one is more expensive and we still have to buy Christmas lights for our tree. We bought additional two colored 100 chasing rice lights (P164.50 each) for the tree.
Honestly we have put up our Christmas tree last November 21 Friday even before the feast of Christ the King. But it remains bare until now coz as much as I wanted to decorate it, we cannot place those decors that has silver dusts in it. Our dear CT would surely touch it and we just do not want him to have glitters and silver dust all over his hands, face and body. Even when we were at the mall, he wanted to touch the decors because he was attracted to the glitters. Anyway, hubby and I decided to just decorate the tree with lights. We cannot find our old Christmas lights coz we might have misplaced them when we moved here in the apartment. Well we just have to make do with whatever we have. We tested putting on the lights in this one and it was beautiful. Hmmm even if there are not much decors but this is enough for now. Anyway, Christmas is not really about decors right? But we have to admit they add more joy and color to the holiday season.
