Today, December 08, 2008 the church celebrates the Feast of the Immaculate Conception or the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception. Catholic schools here have no classes today. went to Catholic schools so I won’t forget this day.
This feast of the Immaculate Conception is a Marian dogma or belief where the Church teaches us that the Blessed Virgin Mary as she was called to be the mother of Jesus Christ and by virtue of His merits, she was born without original sin and was filled with grace from the first moment of her life.
