Long Holiday Season 2008

Just so you would know in the next two weeks we will have a long holiday season. So if there are bills to pay, bank transactions and other things you have to settle, deal with them as soon as you can because there will be a series of holidays. Be aware of the following holidays in the Philippines 2008:

December 01 (Monday) – Bonifacio Day (originally November 30 but since it is a Sunday it was moved to the nearest Monday)

December 25 (Thursday) – Christmas Day (regular holiday)

December 26 (Friday) – Special non-working holiday (additional)

December 29 (Monday) – Special non-working holiday (additional)

December 30 (Tuesday) – Rizal Day (regular holiday)

December 31 (Wednesday) – Last day of the year / New Year’s Eve (special non-working holiday)

January 01 (Thursday) – New Year’s Day (regular holiday)

So take not of these holidays in December 2008 in the Philippines. Basically for the working class, there is no work starting December 25 up to January 01. That is 8 long days of vacation this year so enjoy the time to spend with your family and loved ones. Make each day count.
