Our neighbor V, the only son of my sister G’ office mate played basketball with CT this afternoon outside near the gate and then a little while later they both came in. They played for awhile in CT’s room and obviously our CT was happy to have his favorite playmate with him. I was in the back doing the laundry when hubby and CT went to me and showed me this Shrek from the Shrek the Third talking toys from the McDo Shrek Happy Meal. It has a button in its chest that you have to press and it would talk.
Actually it was saying something that sounds like “I’m an oak!” every time you press it there. I could not understand what it was saying and I was laughing after awhile coz my CT was saying “A manok… a manok… a manok!” (a chicken) over and over again! Definitely this Shrek toy is not saying “I’m an oak” or “A manok”. So since hubby and I could not figure it out, we searched online and found this one collection of Shrek the third talking toys McDo Shrek Happy Meal. Kuya V left after playing for a few minutes in our PC. I found out later that he left and gave the Shrek toy to CT.
Well we found out that what this toy was actually saying is “I’m an ogre… (burp) I’m on it!” So okay at least we now know what it was saying. But CT’s mind registered “a manok” and he kept saying it over and over to the point of even naming the Shrek toy as “a manok”.
With that “mystery” solved I have to go back online and look for a lighting that we plan to put in front of our door upfront and put it on overnight tomorrow as we will be going to my parents’ house again to celebrate the New Year with my family. We might be bringing along Shrek and some of CT’s toys but Shrek is no longer talking when CT was about to sleep tonight. Well CT might wonder when he wakes up tomorrow morning why Shrek has suddenly became mute.
