One down and seven more to go on with the American Idol journey. Unfortunately for Scott MacIntyre, 23 year old from Scottsdale, Arizona, this is what Simon Cowell has to say for him last night:
“This is really tough. I really, really like you, Scott…”Someone’s got to make a decision here.
I’m going to say it’s the end of the competition [for you].”
Anoop Desai was the first one called to be part of the bottom three for the night then Scott MacIntyre then Lil Rounds whose Tina Turner song and impersonation really did not impress the judges.
With the bottom three, first to be called safe was Lil. With Scott and Anoop left, Ryan called Scott to be the one leaving the competition. Judge Paula Abdul gave a final message saying Scott has been an inspiration for talent and determination. Scott is American Idol’s first ever blind contestant in the competition.
