Happy Easter Sunday 2009 everyone!!!

It’s Easter Sunday and signifies a new beginning for all of us! With the risen Lord Jesus Christ, it is in our hope that we rise above life’s challenges, trials and difficulties especially with the effect of the global economic crisis and disasters in other parts of the world with renewed and strengthened faith, hope and trust in the risen Lord. We sincerely offer prayers for the people who are victims of the Italy earthquake who had a day of mourning on Good Friday as they lost not only their homes and other properties but most especially the lives of their loved ones as the death toll counts at 260 or so.

I on my part am praying to have renewed strength to accept things that I cannot change and I truly hope will give me a tiny  bit of hope that it will do change for me in time – soon, I wish! *wink*

On the lighter and somehow more silly side of life, for all those of you out there who has the tradition of jumping on Easter Sunday hoping they would grow taller and pulling their noses hoping it will grow longer, well good luck!

Enjoy your egg hunt, easter parties, be careful for those who’ll be hitting the beach today (don’t forget to put on sunscreen protection).
