Charice Pempengco or more known now as only Charice sang the Star Spangled Banner, the National Anthem of USA in front of 57,099 people at the Los Angeles Dodgers opening day ceremony 2009 at the Dodger Stadium last Monday April 13, 2009. It was reportedly the biggest crowd to have watched the said event.
Charice was introduced by the emcee “Now, we welcome the phenomenal young teen whose singing has gained worldwide fame and admiration and who is sensational in this year’s historic presidential inauguration events, please welcome from the Philippines 16 year old Charice.”
