Long before Susan Boyle became an international YouTube singing sensation because of her stunning audition at Britain’s Got Talent 2009 including judge Simon Cowell, the Scottish singing sensation had this recording of Susan Boyle’s Cry Me A River which was found as she rose to fame because of that audition.

Cry Me A River is a 1999 recording of Boyle that was discovered by the Scottish newspaper The Daily Record. It came from a charity CD that had only 1,000 copies.

Honestly, I thought it was a young, sexy singer singing that song different from the Susan Boyle I saw at the audition of Britain’s Got Talent 2009. So as they say “do not judge the book by its cover”.
