Danny Gokey is out of the American Idol Season 8 leaving the Top 2 – Adam Lambert and Kris Allen to go on to the American Idol Season 8 Finals!
Danny, a 29-year-old church music director from Milwaukee and a recent widower, unfortunately had the fewest viewer votes Wednesday. American Idol host, Ryan Seacrest said that there are about more than 88 million votes received with only about 1 million votes separating the top two singers – Adam Lambert and Kris Allen. So the final competition next week between Lambert and Allen will be closer in next week’s showdown.
