Tooth Fairy

My nephew was asking if I know about the “tooth fairy”. I’ve heard of it and decided to do a little research on it.

It is a mythical character depicted as a fairy that gives a child money or gifts in exchange for a baby tooth that has fallen out. Children typically place the tooth under their pillow at night. The fairy is said to take the tooth from under the pillow and replace it with money once they have fallen asleep.

Actually he just mentioned that because he later said to me if I wanted to be his tooth fairy and what he actually meant was would I sponsor his dental checkup! LOL! I am actually his godmother not his tooth fairy godmother as I explained to my nephew and I told him I’ll see what I can do. I hope we have dental discounts which gives typical savings of 10% – 35% on general dentistry, orthodontics & dental surgery just like those that you get when you become a member of FACT. They also get savings on vision care, hearing aids and care, diabetes needs, wellness benefits, prescription drugs and OTC meds discounts. These discounts means savings and any kind of savings these days means a lot already. My sis who came here for a vacation had made an appointment with our dentist and I shouldn’t be surprised that the rates had gone up. I’ll check on my budget as I have to get an appointment too soon.
