I am currently watching the replay of MTV’s “Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief, a two hour telethon Friday night at the National Geographic channel. Big stars like Julia Roberts, Denzel Washington,  and Brad Pitt are just few of the celebrities who spoke of courageous efforts of rescuers and tragic recounts of the Haiti earthquake.

There were performances from Madonna, Rihanna, Bono, Jay-Z, Jennifer Hudson, Justin Timberlake, Sheryl Crow, Keith Urban, and Kid Rock. The phone lines were answered by celebrities such as Reese Witherspoon, Stevie Wonder, and Taylor Swift. This two hour telethon aim to bring hope for Haiti now.

The Hope for Haiti performances raised money for Red Cross, UNICEF, and Wyclef’s Yele Haiti Foundation. For those that missed the full performances, they are available on iTunes and will benefit relief aid.
