Golfer Tiger Woods breaks his silence after almost three months after the scandal he was involved. He just made a statement of public apology at Ponte Vedra Beach, California which is his first public appearance since November 2009. There were really no questions asked from the press. But these are some of what Tiger Woods said and pointed out during his statement:

• Tiger Woods apologized to all people who was disappointed on the things he did.
• He said simply and directly that he is deeply sorry for the irresponsible and selfish behavior which he engaged in.
• He said he had been unfaithful, he had affairs and he cheated and he is the only person to blame.
• “I was wrong. I was foolish”
• Tiger said he brought shame to himself, his wife, his kids, his mother, his foundation, and the the kids around the world who admired him.
• He has let people down, he had let down his fans.
• It angered him that people made speculations
• Tiger said “Elin deserves praise not blame.”
• He said his failures had made him look at himself in many ways.
• he said he is never repeating the mistakes he made.
• Promised to live in a life of integrity.
• he said he learned that what you over come not in life is more important than what you achieve in life.

• He said “I am truly sorry.”
• He admitted he had 45 days in therapy and taking his first steps to the right direction.
• He also mentioned that the press wants to ask him for details about the times he was unfaithful but that these are issues which are just between Elin and him as husband and wife.
• Tiger said “I have a long way to go… I have a lot of work to do.”
• Tiger plans to go back to golf one day but he just dont know when that will be.
• He will come back to play golf with a behavior more respectful for the game.
• He thanked those people who have reached out to him and his family whose encouragement meant so much to him and his wife Elin.
• Tiger thanked PGA tour and the players for their patience as he works on his private life.
• Lastly, Tiger asks for help from people to find room in their heart to one day believe in him again.
• Tiger hugged his mom who was there after the end of his statement.
