The American Idol Season 9 Top 11 performs and they Idol Top 11 chose a song from the Billboard Top 100 Singles. This week’s American Idol mentor is Miley Cyrus. Lacey Brown was eliminated last week. Who will not make it to the American Idol Season 9 Top 10 who’ll go on tour? We’ll find out tomorrow.

Miley said Lee Dewyze has a great voice but lacks stage presence. Lee sang The Letter which Simon said was corny. The rest of the judges were impressed with his performance this week.

Paige Miles said she struggled with the song pitch. She sang Mariah Carey’s “Against All Odds” was “honestly terrible”. Kara said it’s the worst vocals she has heard from her. Simon said she was so good weeks ago and the song just killed her. Good thing she didn’t cry and was still smiling though.

Tim Urban sang Crazy Little Thing Called Love. Randy said it was boring. Ellen said it was like an audition of high School Musical which was  too corny and pushed too hard. Kara didn’t like it either.  Simon said he has zero chances of winning right now and needed to .

Aaron Kelly was having trouble with his voice as he picked up laryngitis. He sang I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing. Simon said he has a zero chance that he is going home this week. Remembering his audition he sang Miley’s The Climb and he gets to meet her.

Crystal Bowersox sang Me and Bobby McGee. The judges seem to be consistently impressed. Ellen said Crystal needs a little more connection, to give it back to the audience who loves her. On the other hand, Simon said he won’t change anything. As A lot of Americans find her awesome, I dunno but I still think her performances at the start of Hollywood week were much more awesome than the recent ones. But she and Casey James are still my bets for the American Idol Season 9 winner.
