Love Reading

To love reading is something that I wish my lil boy would do. He is still quite young at three when he is more into games and watching movies as well as playing with not much interest on reading yet. But I hope in the years to come he will love reading as much as I did when I was so much younger. Those book reports required in school made me love reading and started a passion for reading. Plus most of my elder siblings love reading too so I get inspired to follow their lead. I love reading textbooks which are basically part of our school academics, even fiction/mystery books like Hardy Boys, Bobbsey Twins and Nancy Drew which were among my fave books to read in grade school. I remember trying to complete reading all the books in those series. I think I did especially with the Bobbsey Twins and Nancy Drew books.
I also wish though that hubby would love reading as well. I have never seen him read that is. I guess men in general don’t (as far as men that I know). Women are more into reading from in my opinion. But I remain positive that hubby will exert even a little effort to help me make the lil boy love reading somehow. Honestly, I wanna go back to reading as a therapy. It will keep me away from thinking about the negative things surrounding or which my partner knowingly make me feel and won’t do anything to help me. I will try to remain and be positive in this drive for the lil boy to love reading in the same way as with life with my partner who really challenges my patience. I’ll just try my best to divert my energy to going back to my passion… reading!
