Ding Dong

Hubby and I were at the hardware store of a mall this afternoon looking for a lamp for the bedroom of the little boy. While trying to decide which one I would buy, I walked around and passed by the door chime and door bells section. I remember my son would call it “Ding Dong” since that is what he hears before. I just thought since the next door neighbor is no longer there to receive letters and check on visitors knocking at the gate of the apartment unlike before, we might as well install a door chime or door bell so we would know if someone’s at the gate. The postmen would just leave and insert the bills and letters at the gate and until someone comes out or goes in would they be given to the respective recipients.

What if it rains? Then the important letters get wet or worse get lost. We would not want that to happen right? And since we cannot hear the people knowing or calling out at the gate all the time since we are at the far end and the house is closed all the time, then we need to install a door chime so they can just ring it when someone is at the gate.

There are now wireless door chimes plus those doorbells that can work in multiple locations too. Now you may never miss an important visitor because you cannot hear the doorbell with this plug in Extend-A-Chime. We ca have one at the back of our unit so we can still hear the ding-dong as my son calls it while we may be doing the laundry or cooking.
