We bought the newspaper Inquirer this morning when we went to McDonalds for a breakfast treat to the little boy after we heard the morning mass. When I looked at the headline in the frontpage it says:
DANCE FEVER. Students of Kapitan Tomas Monteverde Elementary School in Davao City give it all they’ve got at the Indak-Indak sa Kadalanan. As many as 21 other groups from all over Mindanao took part in the street dancing competition that is a highlight of the annual Kadayawan Festival. ~ Bing Gonzales/Inquirer Mindanao
We might have missed the Indak-Indak sa Kadalanan in the streets this year but we hope that the people who witnessed it in the streets indeed had a fun time despite the heat! We were able to see parts of it on TV. We look forward to a replay of the coverage probably at South Spot in the coming days.
