American Idol Season 10 With New Judges Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez along side the only old judge left Randy Jackson for the new season kicked off January 20, 2011 on NBC and I saw that premiere and watched the replays at Starworld. we’ll be hearing once again that “You’re going to Hollywood” statement and luckily 51 passed in the first stop of auditions in New Jersey. Next stop of auditions was at New Orleans.
It seems the new AI judge Steven Tyler, lead vocalist of the Aerosmith, is fun to have on the show (at times) after all being funny adding excitement with all that comments and facial expressions that I somehow found myself thinking I may be looking forward to watching this season after all even without Simon Cowell anymore.
While J.Lo was sweet and kind. She obviously found it hard to say that one word “No” to those who didn’t made it to the next round in Hollywood. She struggled at first to reject those who dreams of becoming the next American Idol to follow the steps of Lee DeWyze, Kris Allen and David Cook. She even said why she she signed up for it and also asked Randy how he survived judging for the past ten years.
As with the contestants who auditioned that we have seen so far there are some who really had the potential while the others in my opinion still somehow made it even if otherwise. They still have the chance to prove themselves in Hollywood anyway. The 15 year old and the sweet16 year old contestant who made it plus the singing waitress who did impress the three judges. Hopefully they will make it past the second round of American Idol 2011!
