One Week to Summer Vacation

One week to summer vacation for the little boy and us that is. There are no definite plans yet as of now aside from the summer camp class for the little guy and the possibility of swimming class maybe if the budget and schedule permits us to do so.
As I look at these Outer Banks rentals for a summer vacation though, I somehow feel excited going somewhere like a summer getaway not necessarily out of town. There is this one place that is just within the city that I have in mind and a day trip would already be wonderful. I could only wish there is a summer rest house near a clean beach or up a peaceful place on a highland that we can spend summer away from the hustle and bustle of city life even for a few days but still near the city.
