Christmas Bazaar 2011 from November 24 to 27 at the Davao Convention and Trade Center in Davao City

Happy Thanksgiving Day 2011!

But others who don’t celebrate it wonder when is Thanksgiving Day 2011?

I know it is today and when I searched online indeed November 24, 2011 Thursday is this year’s Thanksgiving Day in the United States. I would like to wish everyone especially friends and people I know in the US who are celebrating it a Happy Thanksgiving Day 2011! Some call this day the Turkey Day.

Here in our city, I do know some people who do celebrate it as well today. They can have turkey. I saw packed turkeys they can cook at Robinson’s Supermarket in Abreeza Mall Davao. If I am not mistaken, Picobello or a few other restaurants do provide turkeys on this day to customers who would like to celebrate Thanksgiving even if they are so many miles away from their family and friends in the US.

In the United States, Thanksgiving is always celebrated on the 4th Thursday in November. Canadian Thanksgiving is celebrated on the 2nd Monday in October. So that had been last October 10 of this year. Next year, the it will be celebrated on November 22, 2012 in the US and October 8, 2012 in Canada.
