Give Your Home a Glow

Aptly said by a friend of mine, give your home a glow when I was thinking perhaps I should save up to buy additional lighting for our home especially for our living room where we stay most of the time with my boys when we are at home. I have always wanted that cozy and homey kind of lighting that I think a floor lamp or a couple of those wall sconces perhaps in the living room wall near our two-seat, cozy sofa where our little boy likes to stay to sit, play and do his work.
It would be nice too to have those contemporary modern lighting that I was browsing through earlier while waiting for dear hubby to come home. I would like to show them to him and ask for his idea on what he would like to have.
This Access Lighting Swan, for example being simple as it is, is something I have had in mind for so long and which I want to have in our home. I have been looking for this kind of so-called Torchiere floor lamps, which has been described as a type of lamp whose light beams towards the ceiling. According to the description, the main effect of the this kind of floor lamps beam is to create an optical space in any room no matter the size by reflecting off the walls and ceiling.
We have a rather spacious living room for just the three of us here yet when we have placed two of our sofas in it recently, it has cramped the space. Maybe this effect of this kind of torchiere floor lamp will help make our living room look more spacious that is. I will be waiting for any special offers and discount coupons. Who knows when I would be able to save enough, I could finally buy one and give our home a glow just like any home deserves.
