Remembering Whitney Houston, Dead at 48.
RIP Whitney Houston (1963-2012), indeed one of the world’s musical icons. One of my all time fave singers. I love most of her songs among those “I Will Always Love You” that was such a hit that time it was released. Our very own Charice can belt this out well during a tribute for the singer superstar. Fans like me cannot help but get teary eyed now with this news listening to her songs right now as the music industry and fans all over the world are paying tribute to her passing.
Singer Whitney Houston was found dead at a room in the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, California. She was pronounced dead by 3:55PM. The cause of death is still under investigation. Whitney was supposed to attend the pre-Grammy gala and the 54th Grammy Awards on February 12 in the US at the Staples Center in L.A.
She had one daughter named Bobbi Kristina with husband Bobby Brown. She had seven straight number 1 hit songs way back in the 80′s. I remember watching the movie “The Body Guard” many times before. And that unforgettable kissing scene Whitney Houston had with Kevin Costner in that movie if I remember it right. She also had another movie “Waiting to Exhale” that I remember I have watched too before.
Whitney Houston may have gone ahead of us but we all know her music will live on!
