We participated in the Earth Hour last night by turning our lights off for an hour. But the event does not end there. People have been urged to make a pledge to help mother earth, our environment. Anyway, thinking about these things reminded me of my mom who had been trying to urge me to do my own compost here in our place. We do not have much space that I can call a garden here but I might just give that idea of my mom a shot this summer.

I have been thinking about it and then I found these environmental friendly garden supplies with this spin bin compost tumbler with a 60 gallon capacity that is great for homeowners. That may be too big for me but if my mom would ever be interested, this one could be great for her to use. This compost bin has been molded in the USA out of a hundred percent recycled plastic. It is good too because it has locking lids so that animal pests cannot get into the bin. If ever, I don’t want to cause pests flocking into it ever and neither would mom.

Well for now, I have to learn on this composting thing and I may just be able to use those lots of dead leaves in our front and put it into good use.
