For my Camera Critters this week, here is a shot of one of the K9 dogs which we saw at the Davao Int’l Airport when we arrived in Davao from our vacation, that helps secure the place aside from the police, Task Force Davao personnel, and security cameras in the airport. My son CT was happy to see this dog that he called Coby, the dog he met during our vacation that looks just like this one. Read more on Camera Critters: K9 Dog at Davao Int’l Airport »»»

Batchoy

I wanna share a photo of Batchoy the little dog that my CT met in Dumaguete during our trip there two weeks ago and he was so fond of this dog yet at the same time scared of him. The dog was sleeping when this shot was taken. Since my CT was so fond of Batchoy that hubby’s aunt Fe bought him a a small stuffed toy which they called Batchoy too. My CT would delightfully pronounce it as Batoy. Read more on Batchoy »»»

Camera Critters: Husky Dog

On the first of this month, hubby and I along with our baby CT had a breakfast at a nearby restaurant which serves buffet breakfast. On the way while waiting for hubby’s parents, we took time to take photos outside and we saw this dog which I assume is a Husky dog (if I am not mistaken - sorry I am not familiar with the different breed of dogs) taking a walk around the VP car park along with its owners. My CT was fascinated with what he saw and he stared at this dog passing in front of us until it was gone. Read more on Camera Critters: Husky Dog »»»

Stranded Dog

I went over our photos and I saw this one shot of a stranded dog standing on the side of our flooded street one very rainy Monday morning. We saw him wanting to cross the street which is no lake in front of him but looks like one and have become like one since it was raining hard since dawn that morning. He was able to find a way though to cross the street when he walked to one part where the water level was not that high for him. I guess he figured that out coz when I came back to look for him he had already crossed the street and was already quite far from our house.

Spider

I searched and I found this photo of a spider hubby found in the backyard one day. Creepy and look at those long legs which makes me scared some how. I am not much of a fan of this kind and size of spiders.

House Sparrows’ Nest (Maya)

These house sparrows or maya in our dialect are building a nest in the palm tree in the middle of our front yard. My nephews and niece were excited when hubby told them about it. They had been having their so called bird watch since to protect the eggs of these house sparrows. I just hope they would survive as my son CT likes to see birds in our front yard and even in our back yard. Seeing them would bring a smile to his face and I’d like to see CT happy and amazed at the new things he sees. He was pointing out to these birds when this shot was taken but we just stayed inside the house so as not to disturb them. I was doing some surfing in th net looking for a plasma stand online when CT was calling out to me wanting to be brought nearer to these birds. I had to do that later and carry CT in my arms so he can see them better.
