It is back to school for us here since Wednesday last week. Our little boy is now in grade school. Time flies indeed.
Now it is back to the daily grind but this time it is quite different in the sense that he is now almost whole day in school. It will take some time for him to adjust to the early morning routine of waking up, taking a bath, eating breakfast earlier and having to hurry to school so that he won’t be late.
His summer class was actually part of our plan so that he can adjust to the whole day schedule already though summer classes don’t start as early as during their regular class now. He was used to the afternoon classes all throughout his three years in prep school. Well our little boy is not that little anymore. I cherish this new chapter in his life as he starts in grade school.
It’s back to school indeed. Hello traffic and busy days during school days during week days. I can now relate more to busy moms with kids in school. The little boy is excited to go to school each day so far. I make sure of that. I pray he will learn a lot of good stuff at school and he will have good and effective teachers in class.
Pres-School classes for private and public school have been suspended for tomorrow February 19, 2013. This is for the information of those parents with kids who are pre-school students in Davao City.
Per PAGASA Weather Bulletin 01 issued at 530pm, February 18, re: Tropical Depression Crising, Davao del Sur which includes Davao City is under Signal #1. In view of the bulletin, all PRE-SCHOOL level classes are suspended tomorow, Feb. 19, Tuesday. Thank you.
Depending on the PAGASA advisory in the next few hours, it would be likely that the classes for grade school to high school will be suspended as well due to the weather. Best for students and parents to check the Official Facebook Page of the City Government of Davao where most updates on class suspension can be read.
I have been somewhat anticipating the suspension of classes tomorrow when I heard about the TD Crising. With the suspension of classes, I will have to let the little kid in the house do some school work at home even for the same few hours that he should be in class in school. This will allow me to do and finish some very important work tomorrow as well.
