My hubby has lost and damaged a few pairs of eyeglasses just this year and each pair cost quite something so I have told him he has to be careful with his new and latest eyeglasses otherwise we would be out of budget if he does something with them again and we need to get another pair. We all know eyeglasses are expensive but when you scout around especially online you will be able to get quality eyeglasses that are cheap and affordable.

I got stuck just awhile watching Oprah and the episode at the Hallmark channel was about big women as in big women losing weight. They were talking of losing 186 lbs to 340 lbs. Oh my for me that is a lot of weight. Causes of gaining such weight were giving in to so much craving for food particularly sweets and food high on carbohydrates and so much calories. Just four days ago we left the hospital and this afternoon we went back to the hospital again but this time not to admit CT but to visit my MIL who got sick. She was admitted yesterday morning but it was just this afternoon that we got to visit her as we knew about her admission late last night and hubby was not feeling that well this morning coming home from work. Good news was that MIL’s fever has subsided and she is doing well. Hopefully she will get better the soonest possible time and be able to go back home.

The Department of Health (DOH) had announced yesterday this list of at least eighteen (18) canned meat products which have been tested by the Bureau of Food and Drugs (BFAD) and are found melamine-free.
Some of these products though not manufactured from China were tested according to Health Secretary Francisco Duque in a phone interview with INQUIRER.net, “We just wanted to make sure that these meat products do not contain melamine. Baka imported din kasi yung ibang meat products [The other meat products might also be imported]”.
