We participated in the Earth Hour last night by turning our lights off for an hour. But the event does not end there. People have been urged to make a pledge to help mother earth, our environment. Anyway, thinking about these things reminded me of my mom who had been trying to urge me to do my own compost here in our place. We do not have much space that I can call a garden here but I might just give that idea of my mom a shot this summer.

I almost forgot to drop by the hardware store when we were at the mall for our grocery errand after attending mass. Good thing I noticed the nice light switch in the rest room of the restaurant where we were having late lunch at that I remembered I want to look for switch plate covers. We need to replace two in the house – one in the bedroom and one near the door in the kitchen.
Last night I was browsing through an online store and saw the collection of metal switch plates featuring various types of metal. Most of those have nice intricate designs while most that I have seen here in the city have the usual simple and plain design yet it could be a nice choice because they are easier to clean. But I found this blue colored Moon and Stars wall plate that my little boy and I both liked. It is a nice switch plate cover isn’t it?
