I am quite late for my entry for Litratong Pinoy since for this week it was scheduled earlier on Tuesday since the LP admin is travelling today. So this is ME, the theme for this week, along with the fast becoming famous lone tree growing in the water. This was taken by Anthony Serafin, a fellow Fanatic Photographers Society (FPS) member during the group’s sunrise shoot at the Turtle Sanctuary in Punta Dumalag, Davao City. Hubby was not with me at that time coz he was at work. That’s ME! Happy Thursday everyone!

Litratong Pinoy: Dalampasigan (Beach)

This is my entry for Litratong Pinoy’s theme - Dalampasigan (Beach). I love the beach and this was taken at one of my favorite beaches here in Davao at Paradise Island Resort in Samal during one Monday morning when Jess, one of our classmate in Sir Eugene Lara’s class, invited us there for breakfast before he left that evening for Manila on his way back to Chicago where he works as a nurse. It was a different morning at the beach since it was peaceful and there were not much people around. This would most likely be crowded on weekends but that day there were a lot of foreigners and tourists on vacation with their families. This beach is only a few minutes boat ride from Davao City and the place is affordable. When you come to Davao and would want to go to the beach which is affordable and food is good (though they somehow make you wait longer than anticipated) then you can come to Paradise especially this kadayawan Festival on August 17-24. TAPS is one of the Pinoy fast foods that has many branches here in Davao. It has been one of our favorite places to eat years ago when I still in college and when I started working coz then you have your favorite Filipino food cooked in a few minutes for a price that is affordable. Your tummy will be filled that’s why I think they have the slogan “Busog Pinoy” which means the Filipino will be filled and satisfied with food they eat here.
