Our baby CT is really catching up on his sleep today since we arrived home early this morning. We woke up at around 3AM this morning to catch our 5AM flight from Cebu to Davao. When we arrived CT slept around 7AM then woke up at 11AM then he slept back and woke up again around 1:30PM to eat biscuits and juice then he slept back after he made “poo-poo” then slept back again till now which is 5PM here. We had some Chocolate Cornetto ice cream since hubby bought a box in the grocery. Then our CT wants some “nami” which is actually “lami” in our dialect that means delicious! That is what he calls ice cream and anything delicious even the Goldilocks sandwich bread that he likes too. When he ate the “nami” Cornetto he got a little messy and here is the little man in the house with his ice cream mustache!

Last night was the first birthday party of my goddaughter Jiselle. Here is a shot I took of my boys - hubby and CT who won’t let go of the balloon the clown made for him and which he holds upside down (it is supposed to be a sword but he somehow preferred it to be a cross). Lol! It was a fun though short party as we arrived about two hours late. I was able to see and chat with my two kumares/friends whom I have not seen for quite sometime and the chatting was cut short as we have to go home and have CT take his antibiotics for his cough. Our CT is sick yet he seems okay and like his normal self. We brought him to his pedia yesterday morning for us to make sure it is just a cough. He has colds too. His sleeping pattern is not quite the usual when we transferred here.
The pedia gave CT Clariget for antibiotics though his cough just started last Tuesday unlike before when it is given when the cough does not go away in a week’s time, coz the pedia said he has a lot of phlegm. We started with the antibiotics at six in the evening and the dosage was 5ml for two times a day. CT does not like the antibiotics though it has an orange flavor. Finally CT is asleep! I still have to check some cheap hotels for a trip we were planning for next year which I hope will push through. Anyway, I arrived home around 7:30 this evening from SM where I had to buy groceries especially CT’s milk while hubby left me because he had to go to work for his last straight 12-hour OT duty tonight. Doing the grocery was a break for me coz these days CT really needs to be watched as he walks all around the house, and his specialty for the week - turning on electric fans around the house and I have not yet blogged about this but CT has become a “jumper” - Read more on Time for a Break from the “Jumper” »»»

This morning of August 08, 2008 the so called lucky date 08-08-08 at exactly 8:08 AM as hubby planned, we took a photo souvenir of CT and with each other to remember this day which is not only significant because it is the day for the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics opening ceremony and we are then exactly 12 hours away from the said event, but because this date will not happen again until the next century on August 08, 3008.
Today being considered lucky for some people and we have known some people getting married today including Flordy, a fellow FPS member as well as Marhgil Macuha and Shella Mojana of the Macuha.com and Blogkadahan blogs, respectively.
