This morning of August 08, 2008 the so called lucky date 08-08-08 at exactly 8:08 AM as hubby planned, we took a photo souvenir of CT and with each other to remember this day which is not only significant because it is the day for the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics opening ceremony and we are then exactly 12 hours away from the said event, but because this date will not happen again until the next century on August 08, 3008.

Today being considered lucky for some people and we have known some people getting married today including Flordy, a fellow FPS member as well as Marhgil Macuha and Shella Mojana of the Macuha.com and Blogkadahan blogs, respectively. My hubby’s godson’s birthday is coming up in just more than a week. I would not forget that even if he is hubby’s godson not mine because it usually falls during the Kadayawan Festival week. So we have to find Aya a gift and I was thinking of giving one of those personalized gifts just like what my friend showed me one time we met at the mall a few weeks back when she herself was buying a gift for her godson and niece whose birthdays were coming then at that time. I would want to receive a personalized gift rather than the one just bought straight from the department store. The sense of personal touch is just priceless. I was thinking of a personalized book for the kid which I saw online at a friend’s site. That I think would be a good gift. So off I go now to check that out. Last Sunday we celebrated Father’s Day. It was a happy day for us as we also celebrated my father’s birthday whose actual birthday was last Monday. It happens almost every year where we usually have a double celebration though my dad would have wanted to celebrate it separately but then since his birthday fell on a working day so he finally gave in this year and agreed to have us celebrate it last Sunday. My entry for this week is not a photo of my father but of the father of my precious angel baby CT - who else but my daddy H. I am blessed by God with a loving and kind husband and father of my baby.

Daddy C and I had a simple yet happy Father’s Day dinner celebration at Antonio’s Bar and Grill in SM City Davao last night. We gave in to our gastronomic delights and we might call it another food trip.

I gave in to daddy C’s cravings and treated him with this dinner with a reminder that no more of the kind of food we ate which I have to say were sinfully delicious but it’s just only for his special day! I ordered what I liked in Antonio’s their cheese sticks and we had banana split for dessert which was melted when served so we did not take a pic of it anymore. We just came from grocery and with the stuff we had we decided to eat there instead since there was not much choice. It was a full house of course it was Father’s Day and payday too. Good thing there was an available table just good for two and we grabbed it instead of waiting for a booth table which would take us longer. The weekend was great for us here as we celebrate Father’s Day for my two Daddies - my father Daddy J and my hubby Daddy C yesterday, Sunday. It was a double celebration for us as we usually celebrate Father’s Day together with my daddy’s birthday which is today, the 16th of June. We usually gather at home all of us siblings and our respective families. We were complete except for my sis, her son and hubby who is living in UK. We had lunch get together yesterday and when we gather together the kids enjoy each other so much.
