UPDATE: Rafael Nadal wins French Open 2011 against Roger Federer, 7-5, 7-6, 5-7, 6-1. It is Rafa’s record-tying sixth French Open championship with Bjiorn Borg who made the record in 1980, and it’s Nadal’s 10th major title overall. Rafa who turned 25 last Friday makes him six months younger than when Roger Federer won his 10th major title. Rafa is still six major title short with that of Federer. Good job Rafa not only for defending his title last year in Roland Garros but for making these new tennis records for him as well.
According to Nadal, “I’m very happy with what I have, with who I am. I’m not the best player in the history of tennis. I think I’m among the best. That’s true. That’s enough for me.”
