Blessings in Life

This weekend we took a shot of our little man who was wearing his daddy’s hat. They just came in the house after taking a short walk outside to see the dogs at the back of the apartment. It was too hot outside that when they came back, I saw CT wearing the hat and he uttered “init” (it’s hot) referring to the weather outside. Then he strike a pose when I said let’s take a pic. Yesterday while hubby and I were having lunch at McDonalds Bajada branch McDonalds Birdie Mascot showed up and passed by our table on his way up to the second floor where there was a children’s party going on. We were at the mall yesterday and we saw this shop for those who wants to Kadayawan 2008 souvenir items. On FSunday will be the start of the week long celebration of the Kadayawan Festival and we are excited. Happy WS and have a great week!

Activities leading to the Kadayawan Festival 2008 has already started as early as Friday, August 1, 2008. When hubby and I went to SM City Davao after we went to CT’s pedia for his scheduled vaccinations. There were banners like these displayed hanging from the ceiling around the mall. There was also the Annual Exhibit of the Ikebana International Davao Chapter 133 at the SM City Event Center that ran from August 1 to 3, 2008. There were beautiful Ikebana displayed from the past presidents of the said Ikebana Davao chapter including one made in memory of the late Founder Dona Carmen Soriano.

For this weekend, nothing much happened as we just stayed home most of the time. We were planning to go to the mall to have some photos printed but postponed it for tomorrow. I just wanna share a photo taken of CT “reading” his first book which H and I bought for him at GMall. We have been looking around for a book with hard cover and pages then we chanced upon this book so we bought it.
